Can I trade in my car?
Rama asked:
I have Mazda Tribute 2001, I have for about 7mons now, but the car seems to have many problems. I only drove the car for about 3 months; most of time is in workshop and spend more than $1,000. I returned to a dealer a month ago, he still gives me dates, come tomorrow or next week. I still pay for the car that I don’t even enjoy driving. My next payment is coming in couple days, what should I do?

You need to look up your states “Lemon Laws”. Each state is different and the procedures and what they need to be considered a lemon vary. Make sure you keep all records of the dealership’s reciecpts, dates you brought in the vehicle, and how long they have had it. Along with costs.

Unless the dealer gave you a used car warranty, or if the car is still under the original warranty (which I doubt), you’re probably screwed. BTW, I have a Mazda MPV that has given me trouble since day 1 as well. I’ll never buy another Mazda.
